Philosophy as defined in By-laws 6.

Section 2 Keel and Rudder
Keel: With a C26CA approved trapezoid, mark the keel forward
(A-2) and aft (A-1) edges.
Using the Class approved template, position around the keel
at these marks. The ends should just come together.
If there is play, then the keel shall be filled to this minimum
design shape. Shape shall be consistent in the vertical
plane fore and aft. From the aft edge measure down
thirty-five inches and mark the keel. This will be A-3. From
A-1 and A-3 measure to intersection of transom and hull just
to one side of the rudder. This is HDP (Hull Data Point)

hum at 45 degree angle once trailing edge thickness is established.

The forestay fitting hole in bow plate is the FDP ( Forward
Data Point)
This should be half way aft in vertical plate or within 2 inches
of bow
From FDP measure back to centerline of chainplates.
From cabin side measure out to centerline of chainplates
From FDP measure back to forward end of jib tracks. From
intersect of cabin side and deck measure inboard to centerline
of jib tracks
